William Dean Sievert

William Sievert (Bill) was a Pharmacist’s Mate (in the U.S. military) who served in Nanumea at the start of the U.S. occupation in 1943. His job seems to have shifted to being a Medic (medical man, but not a fully qualified doctor). His wife Beth Johnson contacted us with this story written by her husband (who died some time ago).
