We took black and white photos of each household in Nanumea in the period from January to May, 1984. We want to thank each family for its gracious reception and hospitality, and for allowing us to take these photos. As you will see, many of the elders in the pictures have now passed away, and those who are small children in the pictures are today adults, often married with their own children. These pictures contain treasured memories of Nanumea more than 25 years ago.
